Over de auteur

Simnikiwe Buhlungu (1995, Johannesburg) is een multidisciplinair kunstenaar die momenteel op de voorgrond treedt in de internationale hedendaagse kunst. Haar werk onderzoekt hoe kennis wordt geproduceerd en verspreid via vaak onzichtbare systemen. Buhlungu was onder meer resident aan de Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam. Haar praktijk wordt gekenmerkt door een voortdurend experiment met de grenzen van de publicatievorm.
