When world-renowned guerrilla artist and author Keri Smith opens a worn copy of Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass, she stumbles upon mysterious handwritten notes and cryptic markings. Her quest leads her to the tracks of 'The Wander Society', a mysterious group dedicated to the art of aimless wandering. In The Wander Society, Smith shares the fascinating results of her research. This unique work is not a traditional manual, but a passionate plea to tear yourself away from screens, let go of control, and trust in the vast possibilities of chance. An interactive and philosophical adventure book that feeds the creative mind and invites you to look at everyday life through the eyes of an explorer.

Content & Background
This inspiring work combines conceptual art with a contemporary philosophy of life focused on slowing down and creativity:
The art of wandering: The book defines 'wandering' as drifting in an unforeseen, aimless way with complete openness to the unknown and the unexpected.
In the footsteps of Whitman: The literary and philosophical roots of the society trace deeply back to the nature poetry of Walt Whitman, giving the book a layered and nostalgic atmosphere.
Offline revolution: Smith makes a warm plea to temporarily leave the digital world behind and truly observe and experience the physical environment with your own eyes.
Interactive concept: Entirely in the author's tradition, this book invites the reader to actively participate, carry out assignments, and put the theory directly into practice in public spaces.
